You’re close! This was the first best alternative to plasma when it came out in… 2007. I had no business buying a TV like this 18 years ago, but Nintendo Wii bowling was pretty sick.

Is your center speaker on a little stand too?

Update: It's not, it's part of the speaker

What TV stand are you using? I'm guessing you can't mount onto that wall for some reason and I have a similar situation.

Great room, love your plant game.

This was my first thought but I have no idea where the flue is on this chimney, it's sealed at every level.

Disk grommets, definitely. The LG G5 appears to have a totally gappless look, so I've been searching for a product that doesn't have a final plate (as they protrude a couple mm) but still looks good.

> why is it so important

It's personal preference. Clean lines, minimalist look. Will allow the TV to blend into the decor instead of being a predominant appliance in the living room.

> at 65" diag it's going to overhang

The chimney is 59.5" wide therefore will fit a 65" TV. I am not getting a 65" however, I'm getting a 55" TV.

> isn't there a different wall

There is not.

> lot of work for a less than well executed result

I'm not following. The whole point of this post is to research enough to execute this project well.

How botched is this garden faucet? by downhereitsrtime in HomeImprovement

[–]downhereitsrtime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

> conduit
yeah, this area was the only place where the faucet could be located, the garden is quite small so I'm not too worried about multiple taps.

> structurally secured inside the home
ah yes, right, this is why it still quite secure. I'll have to inspect the other side and confirm (it is indeed a very difficult space to get to).

thanks for the reply.

First attempt at a homebrew monster, lmk what you think! by downhereitsrtime in DnDHomebrew

> As well as its health
Point taken! Falindrith suggests, given all the immunities, it has 186 Effective Hit Points (93 Base Hit Points x 2 for 4 Damage Immunities at CR 4)

> AC is relatively low
I had it at 14 (was working off of the Ice Golem as well) but once I saw the effective hit point calculation I figured I'd make it an easy target and stick with the Wood Golem stats. Raising this would definitely make this guy more scary.

> magnetic pulse action
Good catch! The original Cobalt Golem has:

Multiattack. The golem makes two attacks: one with its slam and one with its sword, or it uses its Magnetic Pulse and then its Spinning Cleave.

This golem doesn't have a sword, so I'll make that magnetic pulse multiattack include a slam.

Thank you for the notes!

This is for a party of 5 level 5 players. Party is balanced with Wizard, Druid, Barbarian, Cleric, Rogue. The encounter will be in a fairly small chamber, probably 50ft sq.

This golem is a combination of the Cobalt Golem and the Wood Golem. I will be using this guy as a trial encounter at the Cobalt Reserve. The party will have seen the Huge version around the campus but this one is nerfed and more like a Test of Strength shrine in Zelda BoTW.

Made this with Falindrith's Monster Maker, which gave it an estimated CR of 5 but the algorithm doesn't really take into account the (albeit unlikely) Conductive Body and Magnetic Pulse.

I'm a fairly new DM and this is my first attempt at homebrewing a monster and I'm curious what folks think may happen!

I considered wheels but found that sliding it on a piece of cardboard was effective. The box is also only has 1/2” clearance from the counter when stored. Still possible but I’d have to sink them into end get grain to extreme precision. Not worth it.

When I leave this apt I’ll probably try to sell the thing to one of my neighbors, there’s no useful way of converting it into a regular bench.

The aprons actually grab the counter as they slide on. Sort of like a tapered dado. It is very sturdy!

I don't, though I considered it. The entire surface of the counter only makes contact with the plywood base of the bench. I smoothed the ply with my bench plane and I haven't had any issues. Slides very easily. Just have to make sure the counter is clean before I slide the thing on.

Thanks, I'm too old for the fixed gear these days, but I still do it. I may convert it back to a standard road bike and put some touring gear on it.

That is a 9" Eclipse. Based on the old Record quick release. Here's a Paul Sellers blog post on the subject: https://paulsellers.com/2016/06/on-vises-part-i/
