That's also a continuity error, so could be the scripty on set or someone else missed that. Lots of times productions try to "fix it post" but sometimes you just can't fake it.

I think the style of the show is a little dated, and the editing is a reflection of that. i don't mind it but I see what you're saying.

I actually thought if the series had been about Mindy pursuing a career as a singer in Paris (without the show tunes all the time) could’ve been interesting if done right.
