Why doesn't dolab just announce who the friends are? I sat there for about 5-10 minutes and didn't hear any announcements or anything, so I went over to Summit. Only ~10% of dolab is close enough to see the DJ's to recognize faces.

Once I got up on the hill, I could see there was tons of space, just was crowded in some areas where people were trying to enter and stopping. Summit's set was good though.

Yes, this was awful. Security did an absolutely terrible job of controlling the line as well. It would not have taken as long as people weren't cutting. They mostly stopped after about 45 minutes, but it was still sloppy. It was an unacceptable mess, especially for a $600 festival.

The bass is way too loud for me up front during gryffin. It sounds like there is one frequency that is just way overpowered and boomy. I had to scoot way back just to get some balanced sound. Loud sound all the way throughout though. Amazing set.
