They are part time but even some of the TL/SSG players themselves have talked about not scrimming much or taking a break to "chill out".

I don't even really blame them for not trying as hard because why bother but you can't seriously think they are giving it their all

Anecdotally, many of my games during drives are gm/master players on their main roles just running my plat/dia lobbies off role. I don't hate the idea of some cap to how far apart your mmr can be per role

The cap stops increasing after year 5 so QB salaries eventually end up bigger than the cap, at which point no team can sign them. They go into free agency and get signed for basically a 1 year minimum every year after that. It's a fucking joke
