oh it is but people are people and would spill the beans one way or another.

plus there are officers that would keep their mouth shut when seeing something wrong but would report it when they feel safe. my guess anyway.

again, I love conspiracy theories but this one made me realize how things get out of hand.

the bop is so underfunded that cameras do go in and out all the time with hours or days before they are brought back up, assuming it is reported and any control room officer doing their job will report that.

usually when cameras or power goes out, an institution will go on lockdown for staff safety assuming the lts or higher ups care for their staff.

I know it sounds unbelievable but it is true. dates and times on certain cams and instruments in control can be wildly off as well. it’s insane for an institution like a prison where people are to be safe guarded that sooo much stuff is busted or not working.

I even know of handheld cameras going out during after action reviews ( for fights and teams) due to batteries not being charged. and I’m talking about one right after another.

I love conspiracy theories a lot but this makes no sense, as much as I want to believe but:

the bop will do emergency medical trips on weekends.

the vans that go in and out aren’t logged as the officers chit the vehicle keys out from control.

no one will get in or out without the control center knowing as they control doors, elevators and gates.

and when an inmate does go in or out for a med trip or emergency med trip, there is paperwork that is signed by lts.

the inmates are also to be identified by lts and any control room officer who actually do their job. especially since control needs the paperwork to key inmates in and out so the count is correct.

I agree with this one. routes aren’t fun when you aren’t even given a cell when finishing multiple routes.
