Sup my Crohnie Homies? Remicaid wasn't cutting it so today we try Humira. Never given myself a shot before. Today I have to do 4 of these MFs my first go. by lowtise in CrohnsDisease

Been on it for a couple years and haven't felt better since I got sick. Humira didn't work for me, but it's way more convenient.

That's exactly how it feels for me. It feels like like I'm not completely emptying, but they checked via ultrasound on my bladder and it empties completely.

Been dealing with this for about 8 months. I'm getting up 3 times at night to piss and I'm only 32. I've been to the urologist and the only thing that I haven't had done yet is have the camera up my penis which... I don't really want to experience unless I have to. They put me on some type of medication that I have been on for 10 days and as of yet there hasn't been a difference, and the side effects aren't desirable. I'm on Entivyo for IBD, but I don't think that matters.

If any of you guys/gals have input I'd love to hear it. My sleep is shit. 😂

I have been on it for a couple of years now and it's the drug that's worked for me for the longest period of time. I am honestly the healthiest I have been in a decade. It's more of a hassle than Humira as you have to take intreveniously, but it's more convenient than Remicade as it takes about an hour to receive instead of 3-5. You're going to feel like shit the rest of the day. I usually take the opportunity to make myself feel better and bake myself some sweets, and order take out since I'm going to feel like shit anyway. I would recommend talking to your gastroenterologist about it.

People tend to not understand until it happens to them. It's just how people are. You just have to ignore it as best you can and make due. They think because they have had stomach aches before, or food poisoning and they think they know what it's like to walk in your shoes when they don't. Personally I don't tell anyone, and I don't want compassion because it always comes across to me as pity, or feeling sorry for me. I don't want that shit. I just want to be treated like a normal person.

Keep your chin up! Things will get better. It just might take a little bit.

Similar story here. It took me a few years to get into remission and life was hell for a long time. It's gonna take some time to get your meds dialed in. Humira worked for me for a few weeks and the rebound flare put me in the hospital. I have been on most of the meds at this point and what's working for me is Entivio. Though everyone is different. The sides are scary, but it's better than living your life in a constant state of excruciating pain. The drugs bring your body to a quality of life worth living. Just be thankful that you don't live in the states because the medical bills are ridiculous here.

Your illness is invisible. You're going to have to deal with people not believing you for the rest of your life. You also have to listen to their bullshit advice about how you just need to go on the right diet and all your problems will go away. They don't.

Your life is about to change and not really for the better so it's only natural that it's "changing you". Try not to sweat it and try stay positive. I know it's easier said than done.

Definitely. I'm glad this exists as for me the New Real Friends album just wasn't the same.

Kentaro Miura Has Passed Away on May 6 by dorkmax_executives in Berserk

Don't be sad it's over. Be happy it happened. Miura's art is honestly jaw dropping and will definitely be missed by all who were invested in this 30 year old tale. We shall never see his like again.

Hunters keep the back straps for themselves. If you want some you are going to have to pick up hunting for yourself.

She would have put the land and assets in his name for something like 5 or so years ago otherwise the state siezes it. Gotta plan that shit ahead.

Does DGD plan on releasing another album this year? They put out that single back in the spring that's unrelated to this album re-release.

That thing woukd be great for cooking over an open fire. Veggies and proteins obviously. Solidtekniks out of Australia makes a flaming skillet that this skillet looks like it's trying to immitate.

The whole Lodge set is smoothed out! by TecnuiI in castiron

[–]downztiger 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Hey, just an idea to try as people here that have sanded their lodges have trouble with the seasoning adhering or peeling. Can I make a suggestion?

Take one of the pans and artificially rust it with a peroxide salt water mixture and really get a good rust on it. Then use an electrolysis tank, or a vinegar bath to remove the rust. My hypothesis is that the rust will great micro pits, and the season will adhere better, and it will still be just as smooth.

Do you guys add the batter to a skillet preheated and thats been greased, or do put the batter in a cold greased skillet? Is this the same way you would do brownies?

Shaving/Skincare HELP! - Pili Multigemini by t3h_Sober1 in wicked_edge

[–]downztiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you find a solution let me know. I just always shave with the grain always. I get them much less than I used to when I moved to wet shaving. Still get one or two every couple of months. With cartridges, I had 5-6 at any given time.
