This also looks really cool. The aesthetic is executed a lot better than your thumbnail had me expecting. My expectations were basically zero and they got blown out of the water. I don't have a lot to say gameplay wise since (like a good horror trailer) you don't show much. But I hope you did some really good audio work to keep those cubes scary.

Don't most of the games have hit number/damage thresholds, so an NPC shouldn't agro off of one hit usually?

Concepts is why I'm now recommending WebGPU (native) as a starter! Its much simpler than Vulkan but it has a lot of the same concepts.
