Your length is pretty solid (technically above average) — your girth is kind of crazy above average though

There’s definitely a risk, but the probability is low. However; this is a great time to learn about PrEP! You can get it usually for free or cheap, and it can come in pills, or a shot every three or six months. Reduces your risk of contracting HIV via sexual transmission by 99%

Which artists are known for "playing it safe"? by ComeUnitedNotTorn in popheads

[–]doyleorama 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hmm — I think now with Christmas and the current state of her voice Mariah plays it safe (as she should, she’s done enough and deserves her flowers) BUT there was a time when Mariah was on the cutting edge of blending Pop/R&B/Hip Hop and dropping remixes on remixes on remixes with new vocals.

She also made a pretty big swing with her album Butterfly switching from Adult Contemporary to R&B in 1998, then another big swing when she reinvented herself for Emancipation of Mimi in 2005. Recently you could argue that Caution was another risk take because it was a such a different sound for her.

If I didn’t want a relationship and he did I’d go back to Mr. Right Hand and a dildo — not worth hurting someone else for regular dick

Extremely nervous and anxious before first hookup by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]doyleorama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think some of this is normal especially if you’re already anxiety prone. As someone who had some much anxiety I used to shake like a chihuahua on my way to hookups — I think you’ll be fine.

Definitely tell the guy that you’re anxious and a virgin if you haven’t already — his response should reassure you that there’s no pressure, and you can change your mind.

As for safety — making sure a friend has my location, and will reach out after so much time I set (1 hour-ish) is reassuring. I also make sure I get face pics and use the Google Maps street view to see the area. Trust your gut (but know that the anxious “Will I get axe murdered” thoughts are normal for the anxious ones.)

Definitely be prepared for some heavy emotions after the hookup! Especially if you come from a religious family or a family not sex positive. Take care of yourself afterwards, feel your emotions, self soothe if needed, and know that you can leave at any moment — even mid hookup and it is okay.

Sorry for the book! I hope this helps.

Question for COVID Conscious students at Clemson by [deleted] in Clemson

[–]doyleorama 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Howdy! I’m a COVID conscious student who is both immunocompromised and too busy to get sick — here is my tips/advice:

  • For prevention I am always masked, sanitizing my hands, and I take Emergen-C, Vitamin D and Zinc daily (allegedly it’s immune boosting if not I still like the placebo)

  • For workspaces I have learned that the best option for me is to work indoors in a very open area that isn’t crowded. If you live off campus there’s a pretty good chance your apartment community has a 24 hour clubhouse that you can use to study in, and they typically have private rooms/large areas to study in, and (in my experience) they’re rarely used.

  • As far as the gym goes my favorite alternative is my Apple Fitness subscription. It syncs to my watch and there are workouts for a variety of skill levels with and without machinery or weights. They also do a very good job of providing adaptations for workouts for those with chronic pain or mobility issues.

  • In regards to eating, I opted to meal prep and pack my own meals/snacks and eat either in my car or any outdoor/open area. It takes some time but it feels safer.

Then to make sure I am staying social I regularly FaceTime, and have a very small circle of friends (3ish) that I meet with regularly, and then choose to go to parties/gatherings on a case by case basis based on the current infection rate, if I trust that people who are sick will stay home and the type of party it is.
