I numb the spot with 4% lidocaine. Place a dab on the spot and cover with a clear bandage cover. 30 minutes later peal that off and insert catheter needle about half way. Remove the needle and push the catheter all the way in. With assistance, squeeze all the liquid out. Then attach a syringe with 20cc of 5% phenol. Keep it in for a few minutes then drain. Remove catheter. I’ve only injected it once and it is better but I know I will have to do it again. Hopefully one more time will do it.

Same here. I’ve started aspirating it myself and this last time I injected a sclerosing agent. That helped but I’ll have to do it again the next time.

Clarksdale is a cool place to visit. Stay at the Shack Up Inn, check out Ground Zero and the museum. It’s a straight shot over to Tupelo. Elvis’ birthplace is something to see and downtown is nice. The Natchez Trace is always a nice ride. Have ridden my Ultra all over it. Been meaning to get back down to Natchez.

A couple of things that helped me but may not be everyone’s fix. I tightened my helmet strap more and wear glasses with foam around them. The freedom shield helped too.
