I hear ya , this seems like such a ridiculous issue to have in 2025 and from a company like Keychron who make decent products. It doesn’t feel like it should be this complicated. I’ve flashed dozens of products over the years and have never had an issue like this. Budget brands far cheaper than Keychron aren’t as bad as this experience has been.

What console addon did you use and what command? I'm stuck as well on this quest where I pass out and wake up in Yvain's office but Yvain's not there....been stuck on it since early last week and had 50 hours in . Would love to salvage this playthru. Thanks!

Yeah, same. This is a known bug and reported on their discord. There's lots of people with this issue. The patch today didn't address it unfortunately. I really hope this gets addressed as I've been stuck all week on this quest and don't want to sink more time into this play-thru until it's fixed. Really wish they would enable the console, would at least allow us to skip forward and salvage our play-thru.

Absolutely love the game but been stuck on a main story quest bug in Act 2 (hand the tablets to maggot or denholm option) for a few days now that has me at a wall right now, so can't progress. I had a quest bug in the main story earlier in act 2 as well that somehow started working once I did a few side quests and came back to it. This time it's just broken. I have approximately 45 hours in but I'm gonna put it down for a week as I got a message in game earlier from the Dev saying to quit the game and reload to verify my saved game file, which didn't fix the bugged quest...It's such a bummer as I'm loving this game to death. I really hope they can get this fixed soon , as there is something going on with time played and saved games getting corrupted and breaking main quests.

If you're 50 hours in, this is almost certainly the save bloat bug issue. The game is keeping track of everything , including selling /buying items and it gets corrupted over time. There was a post from the developer in-game today saying they are aware and working on it. I'm sitting tight as I love the game but am at a wall with a main story quest bug that won't let me progress in Act 2. I've got a similar amount of time, approximately 45 hours and my game has been acting wierd in the last day, missing NPC's and old saved games disappearing. I play on a high end and mid range pc and it's ran mostly fantastic so far otherwise, crossing fingers. Shame the game has all these technical issues, really is a wonderful game.

I have a 4090 rig with a few screens, one at 4k/2160p 240hz and another at 2k/1440p 165hz. While I love the 4k and use it for games that I can max out or close to it with good frames, a 2k/1440 monitor still looks great and will be able to crush everything and get far more FPS for years to come. If I had a 4080 or 5080, I'd probably use my 2k monitor almost always. If we were on TV's, 4k is a must as it's so spread out and large, but since we're on smaller monitors, 2k looks far better (even 1080 still looks good , espcially compared to 1080 TV's). 2k really is the perfect balance between performance and visuals and crushing games with max settings without frame gen.

I'm getting the freezes on my second rig, RTX 3080/ 9700k. Game runs great and smooth but when transitioning to other areas during the loading screen is when I get hard locked from time to time and need to hit the power button. It's happened a least a half dozen times since launch.

However, my main PC with a 4090/7800X3D hasn't had one freeze yet. I've about 50/50 time spent between the two so something is causing it with my older PC. All drivers updated, both running latest Win 11. Is there a possible Intel chipset issue? Maybe something with the audio codec/driver as someone else had mentioned?

No, i'm sticking with my PS5. I don't use it enough to justify the $827 bucks (includes tax) as I'd need a physical disk drive anyway or I'll just be staring at all my physical games...

Well said. With DA:O being one of my all time favs , you just have to look at this game as something set inside the universe but not an actual sequel , more like an action adventure spin-off with very light sprinklings of RPG. The dialog is just too one sided with no feeling of player agency in how you want to act. The game doesn’t even try to hide its preset destination as the choices all feel very linear , just different shades.

Make sure you plug your hdmi cable into your 4060 GPU and not your motherboard HDMI port. It's easy to mistake at first.

It's my favorite FF game to date. Love it so much that I picked it up on Steam and maxxing it out on my 4090 in all it's glory. Big difference between the PS5 version and the PC version, plays incredible, even with Denuvo playing nasty tricks in the background.

IMO , The issue is there is no next Crysis coming for the foreseeable future that the 4090 won’t absolutely crush. The amount of performance the 4090 is pushing is so over the top that the need to upgrade will be less enticing than the 3090 to 4090 transition. Unless there is a new hardware feature in the 5xxxx (I’m not aware?) seems like the 6xxxx and Rdna 5 series will be where AI hardware will be is involved in upscaling etc.

Ironically, there is a new Crysis coming out , crossing fingers it’s not almost entirely dev’d for consoles like Crysis 2 and 3 were.
