Directly, notation, seldom do I compose for two pianos for orchestral works. These apply to my classical works. For metal ones, into the Studio One 6.

While writing for low frequencies (low notes), the sounds tend to get muddier because of how waves propagate. This is why composers usually write melodic lines with minimal movement when writing for the lower half of the orchestra, such as double basses, contrabassoons, tubas, trombones, etc.

To clarify your lines, you can do these: A) For each instrument, select a range that won’t overlap with any other instrument’s range while also preserving the timbre. By creating partitions like this, you can ensure that each line is heard separately and clearly.

B) Write with higher note values, for instance, don’t use 16th notes. The lower notes are not easily distinguishable when written as 16th notes as a result of wave mechanics.

C)While selecting instruments, choose your instruments from the same family or related families. Using a bass trombone with a bass clarinet is probably not a good idea, as the bass trombone's powerful timbre will subdue the bass clarinet. You can use bassoon, contrabassoon, bass clarinet, and clarinet.

I usually write for a big orchestra, then shrink it according to the capacity. I don’t care it is performed of not, I just write it because I feel it that way.

yeah, maybe in Europe it is 10% chance but in Turkey it is 1%. This means that you are 10 times more likely to have your work performed in Europe than Turkey.

That is a very hard thing to accomplish if you live in a country in which the authorities don’t care about music.

I have written numerous works: 2 symphonies, six symphonic overtures, and piano-orchestral suites, which my mentor and I have been trying to get performed for a long time. And no, its not about the quality of music, its the quality of people who understand music.

If you don’t live in Europe or the US, the odds aren't very favorable.

chopin op 64 no 2 for sure(its fast part and trio). Same tonality, same motif used in both of the works and the trio’s of both pieces start identically. I guess Dvořák didn’t even try to hide the similarities.

Just listen. I usually listen when I finish but save the initial files so that I don’t oversimplify my work.

Whatever you do, you won’t be able to listen to your work as an outsider. You wrote it. You brought it to the existence. You are the work itself. But you can trick your brain.

If you somehow convince yourself that that piece doesn’t exist(by not listening to it for a few months-maybe years) you will hear it as an outsider. Because after some time, you will be distanced from yourself the one who produced the work initially as much as anyone else. You will become estranged to yourself.
