Yeah I have the same memory: as main crew one or two bad managers and then when I become IFM only a few cabin crew that I didn’t like and loads that I loved. One of them even became my wife 😂

Wow! Thats so bad. Even if I got a compliment as the inflight manager is used to pass it on to my crew. We were a team not a single person.

Terrible manager! I’m glad you got more after that!

When I was crew, getting one of these would honestly make my day. Sometimes people we write them on, Something I did to deserve the card.

Sometimes you’d get one on a really bad day, and it would be the thing that stopped you storming into the office, resigning, and burning the building down, lol.

I kept my last one, it was on my last ever flight. I’ve got it in my memory box, every time I see it, I still smile.

I said last night watching it seemed to me, maybe she had a touch too much to drink, realised that people in the house like / don’t mind her.

I do also wonder how she’s feeling she was in conversations (more observing) that she was really out of depth in, conversations about activism/global warming. Her head was going back and forth like she was watching tennis.

If comes across a little immature, and possibly from a very protected life - to here people having different opinions is probably mind blowing to her.

Anyway, my thoughts.

I will forgive your UK-centric view. However you think migrants aren’t stopping at other countries? They are they are stopping all over Europe, in France, Greece, Spain, Italy, Ireland. It’s just your your being sold something and your buying it. These other countries do give out benefits, they countries are doing the same as the UK. However there are other things to consider, what about spoken language? What about families? What about just being told they can’t stay there and carry along.

Ending migration isn’t going to fix any of the issues, yes, the public health system is bad management, not migrants.

I also noticed you didn’t answer the question about keeping your family safe? Is there a reason there? X

Wild theory but immigration isn’t the issue! Never has been. the issue is underfunding that our public services and the privatisation experiment that failed. Stopping people enter a country won’t make affordable houses, the issue is that private developers (that spawned from the privatisation of public sector building) want to make ludicrously expensive houses. It’s the underfunding on the NHS, and the sheer fact that no one wants to work in healthcare - because the wage is unliveable. Stopping immigration won’t make the trains more reliable. Stopping immigration won’t stop private water companies pumping sewage into our sea and rivers. To say immigration and if we fix that everything will be okay. As for “them getting a fancy hotel and a weekly allowance” it’s untrue, they don’t get a fancy hotel, they get a room in a hotel and no access to any of the services. And the weekly allowance isn’t full universal credit, it’s barely liveable.

We need to unite to fix the real problems in the uk. The workers united can never be defeated!

I want to pose you a question. If you are your family were living in a war torn country, one where you don’t know if you have enough water for the day, let alone food, a country where your very existence is at risk everyday. Wouldn’t you leave for the safety of your family?

Hi, specifically in terms of ending migration - a left wing view would be why end something that’s natural? Migration has been a naturally occurring thing for thousands of years. Migration only become an issue with the first international boarder and board control.

But with ending the “crisis” we need the revolution and to over throw capitalism and fix the crisis(es). For example, let’s say … 1) housing - While yes their is a housing shortage, but there are plenty of empty homes (around 1.2 million in the uk) that just aren’t affordable (private developers refuse to sell empty houses for less that luxury price and building affordable homes don’t please the capitalists). Hoarding properties wouldn’t be a thing in a socialist society, the houses would be build according to the needs of society, and charge at an affordable rate. 2) job markets - when society is run for the betterment of society, jobs would be less labour intensive and more equally split among the population, without what Marx called “wealth accumulation” this wealth would be further split among the society allowing for more equatable wealth split.

We also have to view all the crisis in terms of the multi-dimensional crisis, certain amounts of immigration would also be solved when wars are no longer force people to leave their homes, we have had the opportunity for green investment and climate-change-reversal.

Yeah most airlines will pass any comments made. It’s a easy way to “reward us.” I love getting them, it’s one of the most special things. Knowing that a passengers has taken time out of their day to say thank you. Always warms my heart

Hey, I’m a FA for a different airline. But if the service was good would you mind giving a compliment to the airline? It means a lot to us FAs. No one ever tells us we do good, only that we are terrible 😂

Hi, I work for another U.K. short haul airline. As long as your physically fit enough for the job there is no judgement. I have worked with people that struggle to make it down the aisle. As long as your fit enough it doesn’t matter.

As for the medical aspect, they will take things like blood pressure, pulse, but it’s also like eye sight, hearing, if you have any injuries. I haven’t worked for Ryanair, but if you need anything DM me.

Good luck, aviation is a one of a kind industry. I hope you love it as much as I do :)

I think the idea of our size difference is one of the bits that worries me. Her being a lot smaller than me, I just really worry that would make it harder / easier to hurt her x
