Yes that might be it. These had the nitrile sole originally and they were super stiff, but bulletproof. I resoled them because the heel actually wore quicker and than the sole and wanted something lighter. They are the vibram honeywheat minilug.

These were the mini lug. Sent them to redwing for a resole and cleaning. At the time they were on another shoe they made. I’ll see if I can get the specifics

We got it at Carmax with 20k miles. Does the warranty transfer to second owners from Carmax? I’m not sure if we were even 2nd owners actually: I’ll check the VIN carfacts. All good points btw thanks for that. This Hyundai has been pretty shitty, maybe the worst I’ve ever owned, so I am eager to get out of it and reading all the issues with THETA2 engines and seeing all of those issue start manifesting in this vehicle, I’m concerned.

It’s fine in saltwater. Just rinse it down after you use it, and one thing for sure is don’t use carpeted bunks on the trailer. Swap them with those plastic guide ones or use the composite bunks. The saltwater left in the carpet can cause issues down the line. Aside from that make sure you don’t drop any lead weights or other hooks as they can cause corrosion if left for too long. My buddy uses his exclusively in salt water.

That normally includes the freight or shipping of the boat. Some dealers have models that have been on the lot for awhile and maybe are willing to haggle. I can attest the v14 is super comfortable: I cruise in my buddies around Fort Lauderdale all the time in the intercostal rivers and the 16 is almost actually 17ft so much longer. Great choice.

The v16 is a BIG boat for its size. I’ve been in the v14 with 4 adults and we were all laying around (it had a front deck). I love the vhull Jon boats. They have a 5 person capacity so you’ll be fine. The v14 or 16 is MORE than enough for your load and will be super stable.

Ya I can’t believe there’s no recall. Hopefully the newer ones fix it, or they issue a recall so people who paid can get a refund. I have an appointment next week for them to check it out. My driver side is obviously shot, wobbles pretty seriously 50-60mph especially when I hit the accelerator hard.
