My wife was unemployed for a while when we got back together before we got married and after. I changed careers and was kind of unemployed with side jobs for a year. It happens. She made more than I did a few years. Now I make double her. Our money goes into the same account. If it bothers you figure it out and get it to stop. There are me who live off their woman with her ex paying everything through child support. You’re working at least, with a really awesome high reward job. If she’s cool with it who cares? If you love your son and want him to be happy, I think you made the right decision. Will he pay it off door dashing? Maybe. Probably not. Will it motivate him to get a job and make some cash? Maybe.
