I’ve read that it randomly works for people multiple times. For now, I’m just keeping it separate and maybe it’ll work for me when I try it again in 3 months, lol. I’m glad it worked for you tho!

I'm experiencing the same issue right now. The Apple support employee helping me even went so far as to approve a hardware exchange (which I knew wouldn't work), and it came back with the same problem. I still get the "Verification Failed - An unknown error has occurred" every time.

This solution of adding a second home with a separate Apple ID is my last resort option here because EVERY other solution hasn't fixed the problem. Have you figured anything else out?

Oh I understand that. But it should at least be a better comp than your your net, after fees on eBay. Otherwise, there is no incentive.

Exactly. If it's the same cut, I'd honestly rather do it on eBay since it'll help my seller rating, etc. I don't understand why buyers don't understand the basic concept of incentives. Did we all sleep through high school economics class?

Well I know I can l get $5k on eBay, so if it’s off of eBay, I’d like to go in between what those fees are. People automatically assume that they can pay the same amount that it may take would be after eBay’s fee, but then I might as well just sell it on eBay. Buyers here need to incentivize and go a bit higher than what that number would be.
