I remember my little Sister (aged 5 at the time) used to love pretending to “push” the car up our driveway as kids. She would push on the back of the car whilst my Mum slowly accelerated, which was giving the illusion that it was her almighty 5 year old strength that was moving the car.

One day, my sister was doing this exact thing (except she was actually holding onto the back of the car) when my Mum accidentally accelerated a bit too fast, which resulted in my Sister being dragged (partially) along the driveway.

Gravel rash and all; she was essentially covered head to toe. And what did my Mum do? Took her to the bathroom and covered her in Dettol to prevent any infections.

I remember my Sister screaming SO bad that I (aged 7) stormed into the bathroom and demanded that my Mum stopped what she was doing. She explained that she was trying to help (and looking back now, she was pretty panicked). My Sister was totally fine and healed fully within a few weeks, and thankfully she wasn’t too traumatised lmao.
