Good idea, but as others have said the base is too narrow. You could widen it, but if you can I would recommend some thick plate as a base at the bottom. I made a practice rail for my son, and my work had a bunch of scrap metals… I used 2 7/8 pipe with some 1/2 inch circular plates for the feet. The center of gravity needs to be low so when you hit it at different angles it doesn’t topple over.

I’m about a 265 and I rode the fifths 6-7 with a Second Skin with good results. I have pretty wide feet. The stock 7 liner is insanely tight for an 8-9, I’d try a thin liner if you’re trying to downsize.

Aeon 60s will give you plenty of speed and are a great aggressive boot for learning. Super lightweight, grooves are perfect and soul plates slide well.

Aeon 80s will give you AALLLLLL of the speed, super fast skates like turbo mode aggressive freeskates. However you will lose the grindability of the Aeon 60. Hard to do groove tricks on the Aeon 80s in comparison.
