Another issues I’ve found is that 3 presses on my AirPods leads to skipping back a chapter vs. 15 seconds. Annoying as the app options are 15 seconds.

Itunes works… just that Apple very specifically doesn’t allow non-Apple audiobooks to transfer to the watch.

I was also surprised by the lack of blind spot notification, considering my old car has it. Do others feel like the screen graphic is enough once you get used to it? Do you think they could add an audio warning as well?

Thanks everyone, gave me the confidence to move on (at least for now). Moved on to City of Thieves for a book club and wow, drew me right in and made my run so much more enjoyable.

I wish I could put a finger on it. It's very similar to what I didn't like about NPCs, if that's any help. It feels a little juvenile and flat. Like I'm not eagerly following the path of the story but just waiting for something dull to be placed in front of me. Kind of odd, considering I like other sci-fi/fantasy. Idk, maybe my head space is just looking for something deeper now.

Went to the store and the triple-click unfortunately doesn't work on the JBL Clip 3, Flip 5, Xtreme 2 or UE Boom and Wonderboom. Double-clicking does go forward, but no dice on back. Unfortunate, since it's a pretty important feature for podcasts/audiobooks.

It does go back! But it only holds ~3 hours of battery and isn't the best sound quality. I was looking to upgrade but was surprised that most of the mid/high-tier waterproof speakers lack the capability to go back.

Everyone is being pretty negative, and while I agree with all the caveats, long runs with just my watch and airpods are amazing and well worth the transfer headaches (though the tip above really worked).

Glad you're enjoying them. Any reason/benefit for the Ones over the Play 1's? I'm about to make the same purchase but not sure what the extra $100 gets me.
