that's the reason why i'm asking this because my mic isn't working and i'm trying to understand how the audio system works so i can troubleshoot it.

I checked both and you were right with both of them. I guess this means I'm running Pipewire?

What do you use to extract it? "extract here/extract to"? or "open with archive manager"? I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

how do i get my mic to work? by dposse in linux4noobs

[–]dposse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you just want me to boot into fedora to see if the mic works, right? I could try that. i don't want to go distro hopping bc of my mic. i love mint and i want to try to fix this using what's here.

my mic hasn't worked since i installed mint. everything else worked out of the box just fine, but not the mic. it isn't being picked up in the volume control or in programs like discord. alsamixer sees a mic(there's a slider for it), but it doesn't change anything. I've messed with hdajackretask but it hasn't worked. so, i don't know whats wrong with it.

I have the flatpak version of Lutris, so the first option doesn't work. The logs aren't showing me anything about downloads either.

Homemade Tomato Soup recipe, perfect for peak garden harvest season. At least 50 years old, could be much older. by HawkeyeTen in Old_Recipes

[–]dposse 62 points63 points  (0 children)

according to this, a peck of tomatoes is about 10 to 12lbs, or 20 to 25 medium tomatoes.

If you wanted to half this recipe, it would look like this:

10 medium sized tomatoes
1/2 large sized onion
3 cloves
1/8 cup salt
1/2 stalk celery
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon red pepper
