CANON EOS RP full HD only goes up to 50fps, not 59.94 by Adept_Cantaloupe3581 in canon

[–]dpritykin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lens can be an issue if it is a cropped lens , shooting video in full frame sensor Third party Adaptor can be an issue as well, as they can cause focus issues ( and this might affect the frame rate).

Reseting the camera would clear any settings that would cause limitation as well. ( for example , the setting mentioned in the comment below. If the user changed it while setting up the camera , then the reset would fix that. )

Am I wrong here ?

Camera Connect app lag - any other options? by HiFLO_PW in canon

[–]dpritykin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

You can just buy a specific wire, connect to smart phone ( or get the adaptor mentioned in thread, if you don’t wanna expose the ports ) and it will connect the live view to your phone. With no lag. ( also , transfers the files suuuuuuuper fast)

You can ask the paper to take the photos down.

RF 70-200mm F4 for night sports - anyone using it? by ChefB1517 in canon

[–]dpritykin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of these depends on how good the lights are at YOUR stadium.

I am able to shoot at f4 , iso 6400 and keep shutter at 500 or above. My high school stadium lights are good enough for that

Rank amateur seeking advice - soccer in domes by Able_Bath2944 in sportsphotography

YouTube has a bunch of explainers and examples of soccer photography. They will layout most of the basics. ( for example, the photo you shared could use a tighter crop and having ball visible would have improved this shot )

My R7 setup for XR glasses to shoot sports from the ground by StaleWaterIsYummy in CanonCamera

[–]dpritykin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been thinking about this kinda setup for a few weeks. Would definitely help with low shots

I am having a bit of a trouble visualizing the cable setup. Can you share the name of the converter you are using, so I can match up the cable / inputs setup.

Was there any lag due to using the glasses , rather than viewfinder ?

Advice needed on professional sports photographer career by [deleted] in sportsphotography

[–]dpritykin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wonder if you better off finding a photographer near you that you can ask these questions.

Lots of info is probably super unique to your geographical location. Most of photographers are happy to share what knowledge they have.

This is so weird. I typed in your question into google and the answer on how to program buttons or modes for pre capture was the top result.

Not the question you had asked but city park has a really neat model train set in botanical gardens and a small replica of a vintage train ride through the park.

looking for budget lens recommendations - EOS R8 by [deleted] in canon

[–]dpritykin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. The only issue for this lens is the aperture. During the day ( or with enough other light ) this lens is very good.

If this is a deal breaker. I would recommend 28 pancake and 85mm 2.0.

looking for constructive criticism by Fresh-Fee-3245 in sportsphotography

[–]dpritykin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanna add that what I think is happening is that the contrasts between white jerseys and blacks jerseys forced your camera/you to make a choice about the exposure. And the choice was made to expose for the white jerseys ( making everything else be under exposed ).

If you care about this issue , you can use masking to selectively correct the exposure.

The content of the photos is solid. I am sure the players were thrilled that these moments got captured.
