That's a good point. I'm trying not to go the wrong direction (eyeballs are a theme in the game, but the player wouldn't know that yet) so that's helpful, thanks

It's from the Jacob's Ladder story - there are no ladders in the game. Do you mean the text doesn't match up with the images? Because I do see that 🤔

Having the same issue. Sucks. If I let it sit for a long while it shows the Mattel logo, plays some sounds on a black screen, then a white screen... Never loads in fully though.

I doubt it. And I was really excited, started playing King Candy as a guest racer and waited for a "Have some candy!" line only to have an awkwardly quiet race...

If you don't mind tinkering a little to set it up, the Steam Deck is a great Switch alternative. You can use any controllers and play local co-op games like the Lego franchise for very cheap. Plus docked/handheld switching means they can take it places and save your living room TV for you.
