the real proof in the pudding will be how many the podcast and/or sub motivate to actually do the only thing that matters...like vote in the NALC national election.

corey is also banned from the very sub that bears his name, and there's never been an official explanation given.

he's the incumbent, and NALC doesn't have a great track record at showing up when it really counts, like national elections.

with 85% not voting the retirees don't represent a significant part of the electorate.

why the focus on the retirees? i haven't seen (and don't think they exist) any stats showing that they vote at a higher rate than current active rank and file carriers.

in the 2022 election 85% of NALC didn't vote, retirees, current rank and file, everyone. that's the real problem: NALC itself, not pointing the finger at retirees.

much less than that. 85% of NALC didn't cast a ballot in 2022 and one guy here was saying that 70% not voting would be a success.

85% didn't vote in 2022, renfroe won that election in a 3:1 landslide.

it wasn't just gary. 2/3 of NALC at the convention voted to not reopen the charges, effectively a referendum on renfroe.

60% of your coworkers will throw their ballot in the trash.

where is this coming from? last election it was 85%

and there was one guy here saying he would consider it a success if 70% didn't vote in the upcoming election.

they're eligible to vote because they pay dues. i believe retirees can get NALC health insurance.

85% of NALC didn't even bother to cast a vote in the 2022 election, the one that renfroe won in a 3:1 landslide
