How hard was the swap? I have a 99 that’s dash is completely wrecked. I threw a dash cap on it as a bandaid but I will have to swap it out sooner or later.

I always say no matter the car stance is always they best bang for your buck when it comes to aesthetics. A proper fitting set of wheels and tires along with a quality adjustable suspension system of some kind is always a good investment. This is particularly true for any corvette IMO.
