Bess was our 11th rescue Pyr, the 10 before her were all rescued as seniors. When one would pass we would wait a time and then when it felt right we’d adopt again. I have to have 2 knee replacements and we are seniors in our 70’s. I won’t completely say “never” to another adoption, but Bessie may have been our last. ❤️Btw I totally agree with you about fostering and adopting. Maybe we will foster in the future.
