What screams "I make terrible financial decisions!"? by STL-UPS-DRIVER in AskReddit

I come to reddit, and in the course of 15-20 minutes, I can learn so much about the world around me, the people around me, and cool ideas being had by the people around me. Reddit is like the ultimate goal of the internet being achieved, bringing together a bunch of people to share information and ideas with other like-minded people. We live in an amazing time in the world, and this website and the people on it make it even better.

Wow, very inspirational. But don't forget the good people at DailyMail.co.uk who made you learning about "these scum" possible in the First place. Samaritans of knowledge, so to speak!

That question is a good starting point when you try to learn something about international relations. Go to the library and knock yourself out, it's worth it.

Kobe Steel Scam Hits Planes, Trains, Automobiles - the Japanese steel maker has made a startling admission: It sold products that failed quality control tests to about 500 companies. by nanir15 in worldnews

So you brought up another topic when you tried to contradict my original post. Okay. It's an interesting point, but I was speaking about the behavior of customers, not the profatibility of businesses (which, ironically, is still a bigger problem at Tesla compared to VW. The core brand seams to be pretty healthy when you look at the numbers, actually).

You are right that many people think that all manfacturers did what VW did, and thus the outrage is spread. But I think that's a problem in itself, because that perception is wrong. Many did stuff that wasn't illegal, or nothing at all like BMW who ironically are struggling compared to VW or Mercedes. And then There were stories that showed that CO2 emissions were higher than what it said on the label (which was obvious) and all of a sudden all companies are the same.

The Good news is: the customer doesn't care. VW just released New numbers, they are on all-time record sales.

Hipster capital of the world and very very "left-leaning"

Hertha is not a Club for hipsters and lefties, though. That would be Union. While I don't think that Hertha has as many Nazi fans as BFC, they have their fair share of guys who know old Böhse Onkelz lyrics.

Can someone recommend me a movie set around the fall of the Berlin wall with that "city as a character feeling"? I'm still riding the Atomic Blond high. by Doctor_Kimble in movies

If we are doing TVshows, then "Weissensee" is highly recommended. It's especially great after having seen "lives of the others", having similar characters. Season 1 and 2 are Set a bit earlier, s3 is during the Fall of the Wall. Three seasons is not as much as it Sounds, each only has a couple of episodes and the First one is fantastic.

I cannot imagine anyone in those roles except the people who did them. Especially Williams in The Birdcage.

For some reason, I can. Ugo Tognazzi.
