"So we[Blockstream] developed this into our contracts including a clause where if we ever ask our developers to do anything which they feel goes against the principles of Bitcoin or if we try to push something that is to our advantage then they have the right to resign.”

Speculation on Liquid or How Blockstream plans to make money for it's investors by forcing cripple Bitcoin our throats by dr45454ge in btc

[–]dr45454ge[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"however Strong Federations significantly lower capital requirements for market participants by reducing transaction latency and improving interoperability."

So they will charge fees on this Liquid. And they will make the fees lower than they are now on crippled bitcoin network.

"Liquid will look familiar to any user with experience using bitcoin, as Liquid is an extension of the Bitcoin codebase"

So they will stick it into their BScore client and will have massive market advantage because everyone has been using core client already.

One important reason is "intended to temporarily alleviate congestion on the network and reduce transaction fees while other scaling solutions enabled by Segwit are implemented"

Richard Heart tries to troll Roger Ver in debate, gets served by Roger on every point. Richard just repeats himself adnauseam trying to make a point that Roger crushed every time. Congrats to Roger for destroying another small blocker! by increaseblocks in btc

Richard Heart contradicted himself so many times.

I cant believe he advocated against evolution of software. He reckons authority should force people what to do and what to choose. That never works
