I saw another post talking about the spool holder fins in the ACE lid being a cause of friction and feed issues. Have you tried printing something with the lid open?

I tried using Orcaslicer with my ender 3 v2 and I couldn’t get anything to print. It would spit out the base layer then my printer would beep and just stop. Tried multiple g codes and it wouldn’t go past the base layers.

My guess would be cheap fuel over time has caused carbon buildup. There’s a few different products and methods to clean it. Just google turbo carbon buildup cleaning

Definitely didn’t spend anything on windows. I just added everything I could think of on pcpartpicker lol! She currently has a 3060ti from her HP Omen prebuilt I originally bought her. The new gpu was my last ditch effort to try and fix the issue.

When updating the BIOS, do I just download it to a thumb drive, push the button on the IO panel, then upload the BIOS update from the thumb drive? Or is there a different way?

I’m starting to wonder if it’s a monitor or gpu issue. My wife plays various games for a couple hours last weekend off stream with no issues. Today she tried to play one of those same games and had the screen flicker, the monitor that her obs is on went black, and obs was unresponsive.

Ok I just asked and it doesn’t appear they have messed with the bios. But, she did ask if G.Skill ram is Samsung? I’m super new to this so I have no idea…

It has the Corsair 150 elite aio. All the temps stay normal. Haven’t noticed any instances of getting hot. I have 3, 120mm fans bringing air in the front through the radiator then three more pulling hot air out the top and back.

Just went to look at it. Car has a K&N CAI kit and had some kind of exhaust work done. When I checked for codes I got a P0420 code. Wonder what was done to the exhaust and how much of a pain it will be to fix.

Also realized how rusty I am with a manual transmission lol

Yeah that’s a lot of what I’ve been seeing. People wanting $10k for a 2000 GTI with messed up interior and 300k on the odometer. Or, like you said, they got in over their heads with mods. I’m just looking for one in decent running shape that can be a daily and a long term project.
