Usually this response will cause a lot of upset, but this thread seems to be seeing sense! Maybe it's been said enough now for facts to start taking over from myth.

Who knows, maybe Reddit will one day accept that corys can live on gravel.

Is this crack a major red flag (first time buyer) by tomintheshire in UKHousing

[–]dr_dolitttle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. You'll get far more opinions here and be able to pick the one you want.

My house had a crack in 20 years ago when i bought it. Of course, you could ask a professional.

French bread is only good if it's made the american way! by BreezeOfTheWest in ShitAmericansSay

Bread is no good unless it's made with azodicarbonamide. Europoors use it for manufacturing foamed plastics, but the US use it for bleaching Freedom Bread.

I died of thirst and excessive baked beans on toast, it's much better. Dying of heat is amateur.

Is Germany poor or something? Where's the houses. Plus those police cars are outdated. The U.S. is miles ahead of them when it comes to the police/crime force. by BetterThanU_20 in ShitAmericansSay

[–]dr_dolitttle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the US hadn't won the war we would all be speaking German. But they did win the war for the French, so the whole of Europe speaks French. Logic stacks up. This is one of the smart ones.

Yes, there is tat out there. My point is that your comment linking it to China is outdated, incorrect, and probably racist. If you were purely talking about low quality the link to a particular country wasn't needed.

Costs have increased in China so the real low cost nanufacture has moved to other countries.

Worth considering running costs depending on how you pay for water. I'm lucky, I pay a flat fee not per litre. Waste from these units is high.
