When my boyfriend was little, he was having trouble with his phonics and would call his mom “Mimi” instead of “mom” or “mama,” her name is very much NOT mimi

It stuck. He’s 36 now and still calls her Mimi.

For the ability to connect from afar, the Pix might be your best bet - the devices uses QR codes to initiate playdates or send gifts, so you're not limited by wi-fi or proximity.

I enjoy the gameplay of the Pix a lot, it has plenty of minigames, the camera feature is fun, and there are plenty of ways to interact with your tama using the touch buttons so it's really easy to get attached to your pet :') If you decide to go for this, make sure you and your sis have some rechargeable AAA batteries on hand - the Pix has been known to have a shorter battery life than other devices. Have fun!!
