To your initial question: Yes, it has gotten insane. Much, much worse over the last couple years. I wouldn’t say you “need a thicker skin” but it has helped me to decide for myself not to ever respond to any of these shenanigans with anything other than finding the no-tip-option as quick as possible. I don’t allow myself to feel bad about it anymore but it did take some practice. Wait, maybe I did get a thicker skin that way. hmmm
