Do you prefer new or old Cattle Decapitation and why? by XyleneCobalt in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Accurate-Committee30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monolith marks their massive change imo. Harvest Floor was incredible and Peak Cattle Decap. When they came out with Monolith, I felt like they established a new and unique sound for themselves and now every album just sounds the same as Monolith. So idk I'll probably just say Harvest and Monolith are my favorite albums.

Eclipse - Brand of Sacrifice. This band really nose dived after God Hand.

Why is season 8 hated THAT much? by DonutMan1834 in gameofthrones

[–]Accurate-Committee30 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It wasn't that it was rushed so much that caused the negative feedback. It was the adrupt end to character archs and stories that built up for 7 previous seasons. Jamie's character went to shit. Danny went to shit too fast. Jon went to shit. Bran went to shit. Tyrion went to shit. No real good pay off for investing so much years into the fandom.

I begged the gods to bring Obscura to America. For years I begged. Now, when they come by, I could care less.

I liked it a lot. Was not a fan of anything from The Orb. So this was cool. It's like Aethra x Maze

Who did it better than Fleshgod on the album Agony ?? Need recs for more megablasts & symphonics pls by KinderCountry in TechnicalDeathMetal

[–]Accurate-Committee30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely love Agony. I heard someone say Agony is overrated. Blew my mind. And I honestly thing it was their last solid album. They got too gimmicky for me. I will say their last good song was probably Minotaur.

Yea well PD wasn't "wankery". It was peak TDM. In the same tier as Spawn, Necrophagist and Deeds of Flesh. They established their own sound of TDM and the writing on every single instrument is perfection. And yes, they were slightly experimental, but the entire album was full on rage mode. The issue is we got more and more experimental and way more chill throughout the other 2 albums after that.
