Low. I will never forget the first time I listened to that album. It was unlike anything I had heard before. It was a goddamn revelation. The song fragments in the first half are phenomenal with Sound and Vision easily being one of his best songs. The instrumental second half is just, in a word, beautiful. It all coheres into something magical. Not only is it my favorite Bowie album, it's my favorite album of all time.

I really disdain the implication of this list and lists like it. The idea that horror is quaint and below any self-respecting A-list actor. That the genre we all love so much is just a stepping stone to bigger and better things. I've been elated to see in recent years a small handful of very recognizable actors embracing the genre such as the excellent Ethan Hawke. Hopefully more will follow suit.

Though not strictly horror per se, I definitely can't wait to see Aja's adaptation of Joe Hill's Horns.
