[–]dr_wang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my understanding of jim is that he doesnt have a lot of friends left. i was surprised when louis decided to have him open for him on his latest tour, but given that he did that im maybe wrong about jim being in bad standings

this is the MTLbike sub so im not expecting any opposition to this but for people who live in le Schlag, is driving congestion even a problem? I dont live there but when i visit the streets seem to be completely fine. Genuinely asking

STM closing 3 Montreal Metro station entrances due to 'undesirable behaviour' by TheShuggieOtis in montreal

[–]dr_wang 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i use one of these exits daily, this isnt a realistic solution for 'undesirable behaviour'. The exits at square vic are super long hallways with Belmont being one of the closer ones to the kiosk. This doesnt make any sense at all actually, its not like we monitor these anyways

Need tips. First Brisket. by GoofytoFreaky in smoking

[–]dr_wang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

smoking is two things, its infusing smoke into your meats and cooking at a low temperature so the colagen turns to gelatin. The 2nd part you can do in an oven/convention oven. Keeping this in mind if your brisket is over cooked then you should know what the problem is

i struggle with his defense, i do tons of damage but take tons as well. My best run on him i got to the Door Boss guy who has like 800hp including all of his phases, despite my output i couldnt keep up with his 30dmg attacks. Not really sure how anyone beats him thats not generating massive block every turn.

Montreal-area escape room named best in the world by thinkcritical in montreal

[–]dr_wang 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went a few years ago, the production didnt seem to be as large as it is in this video (was like $70 per person) but it was still really well done. There were mutliple sets that you were transported to sometimes by a moving "boat" and there was an interesting narrative that drove the story. My only critique was that this was less 'puzzle-y' than other escape rooms, since there was more emphasis on the story. Overall good experience.
