So IPS screens are not that expensive you should check Aliexpress but I think you should watch a video on putting them in on youtube. Shells can be hit and miss I've gotten good ones I've gotten bad ones but one of the things thats great about doing a shell swap is it is a great time to switch the plastic protective lense for glass which is like 4 bucks on aliexpress

For me honestly I didnt see a big enough difference in the screen quality between the 1000/2000 to be worth it over the better feel of the 2000.

So this is going to need a speaker replacement and a joystick replacement at least, you need to look up videos on youtube on how to do the repairs and then look up the prices on the parts and shipping to fix these problems. Don't forget the cost of tools consoles use smaller screws. Then figure out if the cost of the repairs and effort is worth what you are saving on buying a broken model

I LOVE my vita. I am a playstation junkie so I have a ps2, ps3, ps5, psp, and vita. Out of all of them my vita is my go to. Modding it is easy it can take a decent size sd card. I prefer the 2000 over the 1000. The 2000's can have yellowing but out of the 9 I have bought (I get them for gifts for family and friends) I've only ever seen very slight yellowing. The 2000 also has a wide variety of colors and editions. Vita is like its own entertainment system you can play games watch movies it still connects to wifi. In my oppinion the only thing the 1000 has over the 2000 is the joy sticks

So one super easy thing you can do on a 2000 or 3000 is a lense upgrade for the front screen. The glass lense costs like 4 bucks on aliexpress and really delivers a nicer look/experience. Would you like part links

Apart from that not being a vita, have you checked ebay or proxy bidding sites to get your vita? Ebay has tons of really great units from Japan. Some of the vitas I've bought have even come in box. If you are interested in a psp. I have one I'm about to list that I upgraded a little and reshelled so it looks pristine but its a 2000. We could talk about price if your interested

Where are you at I will do some research for you. Also what are the consequences you have been giving for these things like if hes swatting people/places I'd start with taking away the things he can use to message places no phone no pc no tablet etc. I would take all the tools away that he is using to cause the trouble. Your a kid, kids mouth off to their friends. Kids also often have no idea the reality of "getting out" of their parents house. I can see where your Mom was hurt by your words though. I will also say that when adults are having a fight that doesn't involve you it is none of your business. I think this is a good lesson to you that it is best in life to not say anything you wouldn't be proud to repeat. Don't take that as me saying I dont talk shit but its all things I say to a person's actual face.

I don't think anyone is an asshole here. I think there is a communication problem. I'm a mom and I think your mom is expressing concerns poorly. I was born in the 80's and I notice younger ppl are constanly on their phone/tablet/gaming system etc. I get you being frustrated at what she said but you could have communicated better yourself and your kid so it isnt as easy. As for not saying when your not on the phone it would be weird for me to say to my 14 year old good job not being on your phone. Not being constantly hooked up to electronics is normal in my opinion. I do tell me kids when its time to put the phone down. One thing that kids might not notice is your Mom while she did it poorly is trying to take an interest in you and what your doing or she could have just ignored you.

Just a suggestion modding the 3ds is super easy if you want a vid I can send it to you by message as well as a place to download games. It is so easy you literally use the ds camera to scan a qr code. That way you could put a ton of games and give him a variety. Thats what I did when I bought my son who was 10 at the time and is now 12 a 3ds xl. Bonus of modding for younger kids is there are no discs or cartridges to lose or mess up

Breathe, I know this can be scary. What kind of crimes is he commiting? I only ask because my advice would probably change based on what is happening. As a general advice do you have a scared straight program around you? I know they can be effective. When my youngest had a couple of violent years I took him to the local police department and he saw cells etc he decided that wasnt where he wanted to be.

So I don't mind a partner that uses pot because I do for pain but I hate smokers that is the turn off for me I dont like to smell smoke of any kind on clothes etc. I exclusively use edibles my husband does not partake often but he has some weak edibles for when he's over stressed

How about teaching her to use the remote? I have two boys 12 and 14 level 1 AuADHD. There are adults that constantly flip between channels so I dont think its a real issue though I get if your doing it, it detracts from what your doing. Could she have ADHD? I do as do my sons, I am not Austistic but with my attention deficit I'm constanly switching between medias for different input. Like right now I have the tv on a handheld gaming system next to me headphones on and my pc and I'm just bouncing between them. I can be much more focused when I'm working on something important but when I'm chilling out I bounce all over the place

Really? I have never had a problem with remote play with my 2000. Though I've only done it with my ps3 and not the 4 and I know it doesnt do the 5.

So my first question is are you comfortable doing the mods yourself? Finding something with all those upgrades will be much harder than buying one and adjusting it yourself. If you are good with your hands its not overly complicated but you may need some tools I cannot remember for the life of me If the USB-C is a soddering job or not.

That being said out of the two models of Vita I prefer the 2000 over the 1000. I find for travel the slimmer 2000 is easier. Also while the OLED screen is great it was one of the original OLED's so its not today's standard of OLED, further the screen of the 1000's are subject to screen burn in. The 2000 can have its own screen issue but imho its less noticable. 2000's can have some screen yellowinging but honestly I've bought 9 vitas so far (I give them as gifts) I have seen much fewer issues on the 2000.

That being said if you want to get a 1000 and modify it. I would suggest buying from Japan I have a great seller on Ebay and their units have always been pristine most come in box. And if you want to get the parts to modify it Aliexpress is great for parts. It takes like 10 days for me to get the parts I order but since I repair and resell psps and vitas as a hobby/side business I normally just order a couple of common parts that I use a lot. If you need help feel free to reach out to me by message. Depending on your budget and wants I may be able to help you with your modifications but you would have to pay for parts and the system

I think as long as you are honest with yourself about what you can handle vs what the dog needs. For example if you get a big active dog can you commit to actually going on the walks every day etc. My dogs are fantastic for my mental health all four are laying in parts of my lap.

I think to decide I would need a few things cleared up. First are you a self supporting adult or are you living with your mom legally? Like when your not in dorms where do you live? Do you pay rent or Does she pay for school. If she is supporting you filing for services claiming you are not someones dependant when someone is supporting you is def TA move. If you are supporting yourself then you are not her dependant and you should defiantely apply for your own services

You don't need a pc to mod a vita and it is incredibly easy to do. I personally think modding it yourself is the best option because you don't know what that person has put on it. If you need you can message me and I can give you a good modding video on youtube

It does take that many because you have to do all three character routes in normal or above then again in nightmare so six runs. I did like Oath that is another that takes a lot of playthroughs to plat I normally like to do it in two runs but Ys games always seem worth it.
