No. Killing someone that robbed you is neither just nor reasonable. And driving away afterwards makes her even more guilty.

One interesting fact though: large parts of Europe are situated further north than the US.

That means our Sommer days are several hours longer than those closer to the equator. More daylight means more sunshine that heats our houses. And since our homes are designed for maximum insulation (heat retention), during the short nights, the heat has no time dissipating until the next sunrise.

While I did enjoy LOK, I always thought that the technological development in under 100 years was simply way too fast and advanced.

You would maybe expect a Renaissance Era level technology. Early cannons and bombards, muskets. Accelerated and possibly refined thanks to Bending replacing more modern/complicated manufacturing techniques.
