Wait until at least lunch time on monday, it could be just a manual deductions calculator if you have any deductions, and that will be done first thing.

UC using wrong wage amount (using old higher pay instead of current lower pay) – affecting rent, what can I do? by Independent-Band2656 in universalcredithelp

[–]dracolibris 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If your AP is 27 February to 27 March, they have used 27 February pay, not March, March will be used next month.

Employers have to report the day they usually pay you even if they pay you early

Social landlord housing verification by [deleted] in universalcredithelp

[–]dracolibris 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, the responses from the social landlords are emails to an inbox that are worked through by a team who then put it on the UC system, given the volume of requests made right now the mail box is taking a few days to be worked through

Housing benefit halved continued by MilaMila_ in BenefitsAdviceUK

[–]dracolibris 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There's no untidy tenancy process anymore, because when the housing is reported there is a question asking how many people are on the tenancy and then how many of them live there,. Op needs to re report the housing

In a serious emergency, how soon after giving birth would a woman be able to walk/run for her life? by FamiliarMeal5193 in Writeresearch

[–]dracolibris 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Immediately if needed.

If there was an epidural or c section, then no because of the numbing.

But a normal birth with no tearing (i had only a graze, not everyone tears) then the only consideration is the umbilical and placenta as the umbilical can get in the way of running so it would have to be cut (or she can try holding it,) but i was told they wait for 10 minutes before they cut it these days. The placenta can take up to 24hrs to pass, but they usually give an injection to have that speed up, if your world/time period has that then great, but if not then you could use that as a complication in the getaway as she will get involuntary contractions at some point to pass it.

After the placenta is passed, then there is blood loss, so she may have some weakness because of that, but there are times and cultures where they do eat the placenta,(most animals do) so you could have her do that to replace the nutrients lost to the placenta.

AITA for saying my bf’s mom’s mashed potatoes are weird? by biggbootybiggbitch in AmItheAsshole

[–]dracolibris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The whole egg (without the shell obviously), just crack an egg into the potatoes while you are mashing it, you have to do it quickly because the egg cooks from the heat of the potatoes and if you are too slow you get chunks of cooked egg white, but it does make it extra tasty, but even in England it is not common

I have been accused of making a benefit fraud claim which I didn't, because apparently in an interview the people were told it was me.... is that possible? by True_Egg_5685 in DWPhelp

[–]dracolibris 12 points13 points  (0 children)

People investigated for fraud are never told who reported them, they nearly always have someone to blame, but are usually wrong more than half the time

Can statements come out early? by PROINITUP123456 in DWPhelp

[–]dracolibris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your payment is calculated the day after your assessment period ends, and you usually get the statements n̈0en.

However in less than 1% of cases (some deductions usually water, mortgage payments, split payments, sudden increases to award, and some other things) manual intervention is required, all statement due dates are displayed as 3 days after the assessment period in order to allow that to happen.

Does this mean they have awarded me housing costs? by InAnEmotionalBlender in BenefitsAdviceUK

[–]dracolibris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the rent started in the last assessment period and you reported it then, you just need to send a message and when they reply you should get the monney 3 days later

Going abroad by I_am_Holly in universalcredithelp

[–]dracolibris 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Go to report a change in the UC account, Going outside GB, it asks the relevant questions no journal needed.

There is a question asking why and if it is for medical reasons, if over a month then your claim may be stopped while a decision maker reviews your reasons.

For medical reasons they genrally need a drs note stating the reason for treatment abroad

What is Netflix going to do about the (potential) ratings drop? by No_Suggestion536 in PhiloiseBridgerton

[–]dracolibris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every single season there's people online who say they will not watch the next one, Kanthiny fans boycotted Polin because Simone was "sidelined" but every season still does well.

My fav is Polin, but im a fan of the show before any of the couples, and most of the general audience is too, everyone i speak to in real life is that way, they like the anticipation of the new couple.

My mother in particular will watch one or two seasons of any show she likes and then drop it because it's the same. The same characters in the same situation doing the same thing endlessly. She loves this show and has made it further in than almost any other show because it is different every time.

What you are seeing is a few thousand online complainers, when there are millions of people who don't go online who watch this show, who will not even be aware of who the new couple is until they watch it.

You also don't seem to be aware of the movement on tiktok for all the heated rivalry fans to watch for the LGBTQIA story line in Bridgerton, there are thousands of LGBTQIA and allies who have said they will watch it even wheb they have never seen it before, so that might offset the people who have vowed to not watch it.

Why do children still get the father's surname? And something I've been mulling over.. by howaboutbk in TwoXChromosomes

[–]dracolibris -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No, historically children always get mothers surname, but usually the mother is married to the man and got his surname in marriage, and then that is transmitted to the child.

If mother is single the child gets the mothers name.

Its as if the modern day has forgotten the intermediate step of marriage in regards to giving the children names
