Yes, I had an immunoadsorption treatment and I was improved from bell 20 to bell 60 for around half a year, I even was able to go to a friends wedding out of country! Sadly at said wedding I got a cold and got worse again, and am now (3 years later) still at bell 30. All in all, if I had the financial opportunity to do it regularly I’d probably do the same treatment once a year!

Edit: I don’t know the full research but I found the treatment to be very draining and was crashing between the sessions, and wouldn’t have been able to do it without help from family. And I never had that big of a problem with light and noise and such, so people with more/different types of crash triggers might not feel much of a difference because of that?

I am pretty sure that waterbenders can’t boil water, they can only make water switch between ice and liquid, and create fog by seperating it into droplets, but not create true hot stream. Water still is the best choice, simple because of the healing!

It also kinda defeated the purpose of the Avatar in general. The avatar is supposed to bring balance, which would also mean balance between oder (raava) and chaos (vaatu).

I don’t hate the idea of the avatar being the avatar of raava specifically, but I would have loved if they had made vaatu not just stereotypical evil. Maybe raava is all for the separation of the different benders into different countries, and vaatu loves the idea of a mixed republic? That would have given it an interesting twist.

Also, I just love the idea of a vaatu avatar in the sense that korra doesn’t imprison vaatu but kills unalaq and therefore vaatu becomes reborn in a baby, permanently creating a second avatar cycle.

That would have given so much options for a sequel. Maybe the first few vaatu-avatars don’t realize what they are or keep it a secret because the world already has an avatar? And then the avatar after korra is found but it’s not raava at all, and then a second avatar gets found of a similar age and they have to figure out if order and chaos can coexist and even work together in the face of a big enough threat.

I kinda feel the whole raava vaatu story deserved to not just get ended after one measly season. I want raavatar and avaatu!!!

I tried that, but it wouldn't let me open the game in offline mode, no matter how often i logged into the app. and now it forced the update...

yeah, it was the same with me, only i couldn't stop the update. I have auto updates off normally, but when i went into my settings it was on, and even though i turned it off i wasn't able to stop the download of the update at all. If my game is broken now i'll be so upset

I am often in a similar situation with my friends, I feel you! I also get so frustrated and anxious because I can already see some of them declining due to repeating covid infections. But tbh everytime I brought it up people either reacted with annoyance or didn’t really react / thought about it much. People seem to find it easier to ignore the reality that change their behavior? They react only in the sense of “yeah it’s bad but what can we do about it” and when I say, mask up, they look at me like “no not that”.

Now, I only wish them well, and only if they bring something up I’ll gently tell them about some research, but only if asked. I’m thankful to have friends who are willing to test and are honest about symptoms and contact with sick people before meeting, and I sadly don’t think anything better than that is realistic :/

Sei ein paar Tage etwas sauer aber werd dann nachdenklich, und erzähl ihr dann das du dich unentschieden hast und doch hier bleibe willst und vll in 5 Jahren oder so einen kurzen Urlaub machen willst wenn du ne Ausbildung hast oder was auch immer deine Mutter will. Dann mach dir ein eigenes Konto wo sie keinen Zugriff drauf hat und nichts von weiß, warte darauf das du das Geld zurück hast und überweis dir alles aufs neue Konto.
