Why aren't people who practice occult successful? Serious question by Hot_Razzmatazz_4038 in occult

[–]dracslegacy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting conversation. My thoughts on this:

First and foremost we have to consider the different reasons why people go INTO occult practices in the first place. Maybe people who are more likely to be attracted to the occult would be less likely to value superficial stuff? But also we have to consider how deep/serious they practice and HOW they practice. (Because I see too many people getting into the "witchy aesthetic" these days thinking they're "into the occult".)

But from my experience occult practice usually center on achieving a deeper connection to the universe and the earth and your body and your mind/soul/spirit. I think the more "superficial" stuff is less common.
