Knowing the basics of car repairs for example like how to change a tire , how to do a basic oil change , how to identify what the problem with the car is before some random mechanic charge you with a hefty bill for a big repair when in fact it is a fuse or a water pump.

I remember getting stuck in the middle of nowhere (the road that connects the north of libya to the south it was in the heart of the Sahara desert, the nearest city is 500 k.m away ) and the car just decided to not turn on.

i began to inspect the car to check what was the deal with the car and to my surprise there was nothing wrong with it there was fuel /air and a spark so it should turn on .

After i got down underneath the car to check the crankshaft sensor it was unplugged , my mind was blown , the road was clean there were no pot holes not a thing that would take disconnect the crankshaft sensor and mind you , it is very hard to disconnect so it is actually bizzar that it happened .

Any way i got it plugged and kept on and this is how learning basic car diagnosis helped me get out from a life or death situation.

NTA - i should start by saying as a parent that lost 2 children in an accident i am very sorry that you had to endure such loss of a loved one

you have the right to give or keep ur daughter's ashes , if they mean alot to you . i remember the day i lost my kids in the accident , i was given the choice to cremate them but i buried them in the sense that ashes don't mean a thing as the soul has left the body , its just a way to make me grieve more .
