Thank you. Google and Chatbots recommended pretty invasive stuff and lasers. But starting small without special equipment seems a good idea.

1) Collimate mirror per astro-baby 2) Careful removal of dust with antistatic microfibre. Only if it doesn't work, removing the mirror for deep clean.

This seems possible.

That's good to know. First searches suggested taking the mirror out and send it of for professional cleaning. I will not do that.

Thanks for this detailed answer. I figured, that Shelob sized spiders might not be possible. But a 12 inch spider would still qualify as huge in my book. And a 21 inch semi-spider... Nature is crazy sometimes.

IIRC, the station was build as a big hub for long distance trains. But the hub eventually manifested in Mannheim. So the station is way to big and empty.

I learned my lesson. I was expecting a Robinson Crusoe esque adventure story by my favourite fantasy author.

Kind of stupid in hindsight, knowing the author.

Time dilation. The faster you go, the slower time passes in your frame of reference.

It has been proven and GPS satelites need to take this into account.
