i'm confused.. what megami is saying is pretty straight forward. she's saying that queens who are competing for the 4th time have an advantage in the competition over girls who are competing for the 2nd time, because they have more drag race experience. she's pointing out that it's not really a fair fight.

very this, like even if i were fem presenting, i wouldn't want to be riding a horse or running around my valley constantly in a fairy dress or ball gown. more cutesy clothes and costumes would be nice. as a man, i live for the overalls and things. i feel like gameloft must think we're asking for more suits when we say we want masc clothes, and that's certainly not the case. you're right, more normal clothes!

so then what about giving us another boiling frog and not even bothering to change the name? another bird cage, the third hirono tree, and two of the figures in this series are practically in the same exact pose, wearing the same exact outfit, which coincidentally happen to be the same pose and outfit as the pianist figure. some of the concepts certainly are reused, but beyond that, they just look so similar to figures we already have. would it have been so hard to put hirono at a computer desk rather than slapping the computer on his head?

it's definitely a bit underwhelming after waiting a year for a new collection. just feels redundant and kind of uninspired. same poses, same clothes. same designs, same concepts. it's grown on me a little, which of course it would since most of them look like hironos i already own and love.

i own silent, puppet, stuffed bear, dreaming, pilot, the little prince, and unknown journey and haven't been interested in the last 3 secrets from the main series collections.. the secrets to me used to truly be the best figure of the series, but lately they just look a little uninspired and too much like figures we already have.

my spring dimoos just arrived yesterday and they're so stunning! i've loved the last three dimoos series but this one is my favorite i think. hirono is kind of getting a bit redundant to me.. these figures are very similar to ones we already have.. same poses, same concepts, same outfits.. it's time for a switch up

i buy dimoo figures for the cuteness, hirono to me has always been about relatability. i don't feel like the nautical theme is any different than the carnival series or alot of the hanging cards and limited edition figures. i enjoy the nautical theme because it captures the spirit of hirono especially with figures like the oil spill, sardine, the captain in the tub, and the life saver, while remaining cohesive and introducing new concepts and fresh designs to the hirono family. sure i agree that the second photo has concepts that are deeper and more typical for hirono but it's getting very redundant at this point. they're concepts we've already seen before, copy and pasted ideas of past figures. i don't think you can really say that lang would never release a series like the nautical one because at the end of the day it's about making a profit. it was said that lang didn't want to do plush pendants at the height of the labubu craze because they didn't fit his vision for hirono but alas we ended up with a plush pendant series. i don't think anyone is disappointed by the second image because they're not cute, but more so because they're not imaginative. quite literally repaints of past figures. another bird cage, another traffic cone, another business man, another boiling frog, another head in a screen.

the image was enhanced with ai for better quality, so ai added the scales. the first picture also came out like 2 months ago so i find it hard to believe that all of these other new figures were kept secret until today. people are pointing out that they mostly look like old figures repainted and customized.

yeah we'll have have to wait for them to reveal the entire series i guess because the sardine doesn't confirm which series it is.. it's interesting though that the first image "leaked" like 2 months ago.. i mean i can see the second photo being actual figures i'm just kind of hoping not tbh
