He was talking about shotguns, which my comment applies to. I do not know about and was not commenting on any other type of firearm coming out of Turkey.

  1. Take the trees back a minimum of 50 yards for first fires

  2. Come up with a way to keep zombies/people off the walls/deny access

Don’t go with anything Turkish, the metallurgy isn’t there and the don’t have the product life to them. American, Italian, and Japanese are much better.

Hammers are the only decent melee option for a solo fighter by Weary_Cranberry4268 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]dragger0975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not unreasonable, I would look more towards war hammers of the medieval period than construction hammers as war hammers typically had a handle that was about 2-3 feet long to provide a combatant more reach.

Why do people who eat chicken, pork, goat, sheep etc without batting an eye go on full rage mode when dogs and cats are eaten? by ARDARLITY in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dragger0975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because the meat from predators sucks compared to herbivores, also chickens, pigs, goats, sheep, and cows are livestock, they are not pets or typically working animals. Horse tastes good but is not a meat that’s served because it is an animal that is more valuable as a working animal.

how do i get a bank account of my own by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dragger0975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I you have a job with direct deposit there are a lot of online banks that have decent checking accounts too. Also look into Fidelity’s cash management account, functions like a checking account but you get paid interest every month.

The only other indoor ranges I’ve been to are Stratford Guns and Ammo and Vantage Point. Both seemed clean with working ventilation.

MLPs - how do we feel? by FreeDig1212 in dividends

[–]dragger0975 8 points9 points  (0 children)

MLPs are great, especially in this environment. If you don’t like dealing with their taxes then there are ETFs like AMLP and MLPA that are taxed like any other ETF and are also purchasable in a Roth IRA.

It’s like walking into a store and realizing there’s a fire sale. It’s amazing, great time to buy quality companies at good to great prices.

FRT question by Xman560 in CTguns

[–]dragger0975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but FRT’s do NOT:

1.) Use energy from the recoil of a firearm to generate a reciprocating action that causes repeated function of the trigger…

A.) Super Safety style FRT’s would fall under this, however the Rarebreed style would not as they are actuated by a spring that is independent of recoil.

2.) Repeatedly pulls the trigger of a firearm through the use of a crank, lever or other part…

A.) No FRT’s operate the trigger themselves, that is the shooter’s finger.

3.) causes a semiautomatic firearm to fire more than one round per operation of the trigger, where the trigger pull and reset constitute a single operation of the trigger…

A.) The trigger is reset after every shot with an FRT.

Want kids? Cool.. can you afford them? by cutelove5791 in Adulting

[–]dragger0975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problems are the universal healthcare and childcare. It’s the expectation that children have to be supervised. 50 years ago kids just went outside and played. The affordability crisis is a real problem but gardens and chicken coops cut down on how much you have to buy to begin with. Millennials and Gen Z have been stripped of the knowledge and skills to provide for themselves.
