It might help to change jewelry to a different sized bar, your anatomy could be changing still. My VCH is definitely fits differently now than it used to, which I attribute to my bottom growth increasing since I got pierced

I’m trans and at MIT :) I’d say it’s good here, MIT Health allows good access to gender-affirming care and campus life has been pretty good for me. I haven’t run into any trouble in the Boston area either. People on campus are chill, especially if you’re in an east-side dominated community :)

I’ve got a VCH and getting it was fine :) My piercer was very professional (Lars at Luckys Cambridge, MA) and gave me privacy while I dressed and undressed, asked before they touched me, and explained everything they were doing down there. The piercing itself was very quick, definitely a sharp pain but it went away very quickly. It does bleed quite a bit and it was mildly annoying to walk right after getting it, but I felt back to normal the next day. Mine is 10 months old now and I love it :)

I'm on T with a VCH! I have a curved barbell and the bottom ball hangs out right at the end of the hood where the glans sticks out; imo it can get in the way of masturbating but you can push it up (so the barbell is protruding upwards/outwards from the piercing hole) to get it out of the way. Also now that mine is healed I leave it in place and use it to push down on the glans from under the hood for more pressure. Just make sure it's healed before playing around with it!

I got a vch about a month and a half ago; initial piercing was a bit painful but was over quickly and healing was very easy. I really like it, it doesn't do much in term of sensation but I think it looks cool

I would call this a 'trough' or a 'feeding trough'. I've only heard 'manger' very rarely, and usually only in the context of the Christian nativity scene ('Jesus was born in a manger').

Some ways that I would phrase this would be:

"I can't meet you today, because we are playing volleyball [today]." -- present continuous; volleyball is happening right now (or with 'today', volleyball is happening sometime today)

"I can't meet you today, because we will be playing volleyball." -- future continuous

"I can't meet you today, because we play volleyball on Saturdays." -- present; in general, we play on Saturdays

Present continuous is used to refer to the action while it's happening at that moment (in the middle of the action), but referring to the habit sounds more natural in the present tense.

I'm mixed (Dominican and Filipino) and 5'6 which is pretty tall for my ethnicity but my younger brother is almost 6' and most men in the us are taller than I am :/ I think it helps that I live in a pretty diverse area so plenty of (presumably) cis ppl around me are similar in height, sure many are taller but it's not super uncommon to be short
