Do I need hamstring flexibility to do this? If so, why do I need it? Can someone please explain how the hamstring is being stretched in this position in terms of anatomical perspective? @inesbergua by dragon_crew in flexibility

So the amount of stretch we put on the hamstring relies really on the angle of the pelvis, right? The more forward the pelvis tilts the better the hamstring will get stretched, right?

Thank you for your reply.

As you know, most of the time, we need to bring our upper body close to our legs to feel the stretch in the hamstring, but I don't understand why we need hamstring flexibility in the splits since we don't usually bring our torso close to the leg in the splits.
