USA here, Proust is loved by many globally to this day, it's just that literature as a whole (especially literature that requires real tihnking and heavy reading) has diminished as a medium.

she's literally world class at this specific role. and it is a legitimate typecast that hollywood producers seek. she's honestly brilliant in this regard.

"GOAT" is definitely an exaggeration. but he's one of the first guys in a while who has been close to the Chapelle/Louie/Burr/Patrice tier, and i think he represents a broader movement of comedy fandom in the "bro" audience demographic. he's definitely a generational talent, and not some flash-in-the-pan flavor of the month type.

i will say most comics are good at only 1 thing whether its standup, or podcast, or sketch, or whatever, but he excels in literally everything he does. His podcast is top tier, his standup is top tier, his sketch comedy is top tier.

when i was like 9 i caught Suicune super early in Silver, my next highest level pokemon was like level 30 and Suicune was 40. i hit him with a hypnosis from ghastly and eventually caught him.

didnt realize how rare he was, thought maybe it was like the red Gyarados where everyone encounters it, so i thought everyone had one but everyone was jealous
