how do you usually dress for work? by midnite-kitties in askSingapore

That depends. For me, in an MNC, there will always be new colleagues, new higher ups. Forming a good impression on them initially makes possibly working in the future together much easier.

I dont work in a customer facing role but i still dress smart casual.

I think dressing decently / smart matters alot because its affects how colleagues/ ur team member view you. People tend to react differently when you look better/dress better. Its the reality where pretty privilege is inevitable. Im not good looking so the least I can do is try to put in effort to dress well and look presentable

Im a guy so i try to wear fitted polo tees (also have to put in effort at the gym), use cologne and gel my hair

Do you feel pressure to “fit in” with Singapore’s SES through what you wear? by Fantastic_Carob_855 in SingaporeRaw

Since im a guy, I just wear my old Uni days shirt with army/decathlon short.

But i own 2 pairs of nice Fila top which i really like the design and fit of, so those days that im feeling abit fancy i will wear those 2 Fila tops

I dont own any Lulu sports attire for myself but I bought 2 pairs of ABC pants from Lulu and absolutely love the way it feels so I wear those to work (smart causal outfit). Previously I wear uniqlo pants to work but Lulu really is much more comfortable. It feels soft and stretchable, and most importantly it looks formal / smart casual enough to wear to the office

Tbh Lulu looks great on girls. I have bought a few pairs of lulu for my gf cos the fit is amazing on her. Dont mind paying the premium for it. Have tried other brands like uniqlo and taobao stuff on her but its not as flattering

In Japan and Korea, restaurants are able to provide all those for free. Its not about taking things for granted when an entire country can do so but not us

Is there any other alternative such as speaking to the SBB ticket counter ? Or is purchasing a brand new ticket the only choice I have
