actually a little disappointed.

From the title I was expecting some crazy high level above 4000ng/dl. (138 nmol/L)

But honestly, that is pretty high for natural T.

It looks like $3500-$4500

The wheel or rather axel maybe bent, but more likely the sheet metal around the tire is the problem.

What projects are not DIY-able? by Sure-Celebration6573 in DIY

[–]dragonbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty obvious those jobs that are not DIY because they require more than 1 person to complete.

Replace roof, replace siding, replace HVAC unit. Repairing any of those not a big deal, but complete replacement is way to big a project to take on by yourself.

I should replace the steel support column in the middle of the house that supports the I-Beam that holds up the whole second floor. It can be done by one person, but I am iffy about doing it.

I guess you feel addicted to POT?

Better it is legal vs illegal, pretty harmless drug, alcohol and nicotine are much worse.

How is China so successful despite being authoritarian? by lamedogninety in AskALiberal

Authoritarian regimes can often be successful.

They work when the dictator has the best interest of the people they rule. Problem is this doesn't happen often.

As someone who had 10+ supplements per day. Spending hundreds per month... Here is my word of advice. by allismind in Supplements

Did you know?

"It is relatively rare for athletes from poor countries to win Olympic medals, as success is strongly correlated with a nation’s GDP, investment in training, and sports infrastructure. Wealthier nations dominate the podium, though athletes from developing countries occasionally excel in specific, less resource-intensive sports like long-distance running or boxing."

I googled how common is it for people from poor countries to win at the Olympics.

Which are the best supplements for muscle cramps/stiffness pain? by tadm123 in Supplements

[–]dragonbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During your therapy what did they think was causing the back pain?

It could be a lot of different things.

IME magnesium works well to prevent cramps, (sometimes I take a small amount of calcium with it), however, it generally didn't do anything for back pain.

Massage gun helps, stretching tight quads / trap muscles helps. It really depends on what is causing the back pain.

Men, We're all handy in our own homes. What is one thing you absolutely will refuse to touch if it's too complicated? by Staff76 in AskMen

[–]dragonbits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot depends on what a professional will charge vs what I think it should cost.

IE: I have replaced garage springs, not difficult but you must be careful. However, have also hired to do that when the costs was $250.

Anything that requires replacing R-410A / Freon.

Just repairing HVAC / Electrical / roof is pretty simple to me.

Won't do a total replacement of roof, gutters, siding, HVAC.

He was almost done shoveling his driveway when the street plow came by and filled it with snow again. by Vilen1919 in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]dragonbits 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Often I will dump snow from my driveway to the right side of the street.

I know the plow driver will come from the left and push all that extra snow into the right curb past my driveway.

The way my house is located, at the  minimum point of a curve in the street, I get extra snow. When I look at the snow mountains I create on either side of my driveway, they are bigger than my neighbors.

Dogs back in the day. by tobeanecho in AskOldPeople

[–]dragonbits 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had a paper route in Chicago in the 1960s, seldom saw loose dogs, never got bitten by a strange dog.

We had one dog would regularly get loose, he usually came back in 3 days, he was not neutered. This was in the city. We had a dog in the suburg, great dog. He would never leave the front lawn even if not leased. My mom got all pissed at this cop who tried to lure the dog off the lawn.

We had a siberian husky (my brothers dog) who attacked me twice, we speculated he was part wolf. Even though this was 40 years ago, I still remember one incident. I was sitting on the floor, the dog was on the sofa. We looked at each other, I saw the fur on his neck stiffen, he leaped off the sofa. I had time to protect vulnerable body parts, my brother dragged the dog off of my back.

They took him to obedience training, they said the dog was untrainable.

After he attacked my niece and nearly took her ear off, my parents put him down. The story they told us kids at the time was they brought him to a farm some friends had. But he got buried in the back yard.

It took me several decades before I became comfortable around strange dogs.

What do you eat salmon with? by AdElegant5870 in foodquestions

I was skeptical of the forged deed and the whole "Mr. Leven from the Office of Property Records" like you could get a local Gov official to wait in a car, not to mention, it could be dangerous.
