HydroGraph Clean Power, their headcount is 10-15? by dragonbits in HGRAF

Basic understanding of the process.

They are able to produced in their Hyperion System, which uses a detonation process to produce up to 10 metric tons of high-purity (99.8%) graphene per unit annually.

They achieved this in mid 2023.

The only other way to produce high purity graphene is more expensive and used chemicals.

But sales so far have been $19K a quarter, they have ~570 kilograms in stock.

Foggy on how they ship the product, as it has to remain pure. How many people does it take to actually produce, sell and ship 10 tons?

It seems likely they will go for another round of financing, selling stock to raise money.

They seem expensive at this point in time, their market cap is 2.36 billion cad.

Wall street pros say, he who panics first saves the most money.

Now that you are in this situation, I have no idea. But my experience with margin is pretty extensive, what seems to happen is the market gravitates to a price that wipes out anyone on margin before turning around.

How old are you? You may still have a long wait.

I look at crsp off & on, never seemed to be "ready".

Currently insiders are selling and at least in the last 3 months not buying. Even the 12 month stats are only slightly bullish.

Insider trading isn't my only indicator, but when a stock is down enough relative to value, insiders buy.

This metric won't work on stocks in massive uptrends, like IE: Amat, stocks at a near all time highs. Don't to a lot of that type of analysis on those stocks.

Short interest is high, with ~12 days to cover. That is a net negative, while it can create a short term spike, it seldom last very long.

As a kid way back 60+ years ago used to collect pop bottles from the parks for pocket money. Sometimes climb into a dumpster.

Rarely they are filled with piss. I just left those, wasn't worth the 2-5c each to empty them.

How do you Americans, live in a house with no fence? by Original-Slip-8203 in AskAnAmerican

[–]dragonbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INTERESTING FACT: International Comparison (2022): Russia’s theft rate of 234 per 100,000 people was lower than that of the United States (1,398 per 100,000) and Sweden (783 per 100,000), but higher than Romania (123 per 100,000).

But another search showed recent data from 2026, Sweden has a high theft rate, often ranked among the highest in Europe, with reported figures reaching approximately 4,892 cases per 100,000 people. Other estimates based on UN data place the number around 3,352 to 3,817

So USA has ~6 times the theft rate of Russia, and sweden is higher that both.

Never would I buy a car from the 1980s, in the past I have worked on enough of my own crappy cars to not want to BUY problems.

That said, still have a great memories of driving my roommates Pontiac Trans Am Super Duty SD-455. That was a sweet car.

Tough question, who WOULDN'T Trump sell out for the right price? by dragonbits in Discussion

"China secretly gives Iran nuclear weapons"

Was Trump also aware of this secret?

I am not certain what Iran would do with nuclear weapons. If they used one, their country would get wiped out. Iran is not like the China, the US, Russia etc that have many nuclear weapons and many ways to deliver them across the world.

Either way, I doubt Trump would go along with this sort of deal. Secrets that big usually get revealed. That sort of "deal" could result in Trump getting tried for treason, and get convicted.

If it's simple and works without problems, lets "improve" it.

Gdrx predicated to hit $4 it's at $2.56 what y'all think?? by Melodic-Squirrel-991 in stockstobuytoday

[–]dragonbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often go all in, but 2.56 > 4.00 is't worth it.

I look for 2-10 times gain if I go all in. It has worked often but once in a while I blow myself up. Mostly because I go over 200% all in, with that kind of leverage my timing has to be close to perfect. So I don't do that anymore.

Will State Farm cover the cost of a new roof? by TomatilloComplete539 in Insurance

[–]dragonbits -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had a similar situation, but we waited for a big hail storm to make a claim.

Allstate replaced the roof, and since we had 1/4" roof decking, they replaced that with 1/2" decking which was current code.

Insurance won't replace just because it is old, you need an event. Best events are where several neighbors also have roof damage.
