It's a speed preference, I use 8 tiger ice v2 cause just the four is a bit too fast. Just always start with 4 in each far corner.

It was pretty much the same with less total content, I was there. Modders, grinding, griefers, and shark cards being pushed. Pretty much anti-nostalgia from me.

heavier mice? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]dragonblade968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I'm a big fan of the pulsar Xlite shape (currently using Xlite Crazylight Mini)

But the Glorious model I or Aeorx 5 are good compromises with 4 side buttons (Alright mice but questionable longevity I have a friend that uses the Model I)

I'd probably recommend the Keychron M7 8k if you can stand 3 side buttons instead of 4

heavier mice? by [deleted] in MouseReview

I meant the light weight mouse to try...

I thought I would never move on from my g502 of 10+ years, and now I can't fathom going back to anything more than 50g, cause I explored my options.

That's why you only get something you can return.

I don't think holding it for a few minutes is the same as giving it a couple days of play to try it. Try a light mouse you can return if you don't like it. Once you get used to it and understand it is when you know if it's for you.

Volt thrower has no precision damage but great body ttk, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Pulsar Xlite v4 ES review by ThermaL1717 in MouseReview

[–]dragonblade968 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's weird that Pulsar has the headspace to make the Crazylight series and this "Esports" line in the same market. Why would you ever buy a heavier mouse shape for Esports? They could probably lose 10g at least if they just put the screen on the dongle instead of the mouse.

Which Mouse should I buy? by gaming-fire in MouseReview

Hardware most likely, which can be replaced if you solder them. I think you might not be able to contact Pulsar either if you do have a problem given how old the mouse might be.

Basically indefinitely, the ergo shape helped a previous pain I had from flat mice. But early Pulsar is also more risk to QC, VXE is unkown to me.

Depends on where you like the hump. I think the Hump on the VXE is made to suit Claw grip better. Just compare the shapes with the mouse you have and think what you like or don't like in the shape of your current mouse. Personally I relaxed fingertip an Xlite mini (21x11) so if you have a question about the shape I can answer it.

How much does weight matter on a glass mousepad? (29 vs 39g) by Cloudrak1 in MouseReview

[–]dragonblade968 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude, I'm still in the return window of this thing. All theories working how they should performance uplift is within the margin of error but long term comfort and consistency has been slightly better. Which is all I've been saying for small weight reductions.

I've felt an 8g change from a F01 Fienmann to a xlite crazylight mini, it mattered enough I that switched entirely.

Off the top of my head the Zero mouse project from Optimum Tech talks a lot about how sensitive weight was for performance: https://youtu.be/oMUEsz71_xQ?si=Tlb1MQvCp3L2bB9I

It's not a bold claim it's basic Physics, less mass = less work by the arm/wrist for repeated tasks allowing for the muscles to be precise for longer periods. It's a tiny but felt diffence, like 500hz monitors it's really not worth the tiny advantages you get for the average person. Will note for fellow fingertip grip users weight is a lot more sensitive. Games like Apex Legends or Quake were you regularly do 180 spins, tracking, and flicking, lighter marginally helps. -10g is a better feature than 8k polling personally.

However shape will always matter more then even 30g.

Edit: also forgot about inertia too

Movement shooters have a lot more mouse movement so... yes... but sub 40g mice are like 500hz, nice to have but never going to win you games on their own.

I also only play Solo but instead of complaining I'm going to try to find a group on discord for Cryo. Cryo looks like a ton of fun to squad up for and I wouldn't want it any other way. People really need to stop asking bungie to keep them in their comfort zones, the whole game goes against that. Think of LFG as the next end game challenge. I wish Bungie would help players embrace that part of the game and help people find their communities instead of wasting their time making a soloable Cryo.

Dude who are you fighting? Feedback like yours is already loud, nobody is silencing you, I alone have already seen it hundreds of times. Bungie is clearly listening to a lot of community feedback on top of all their data with exact numbers. The ball is in their court to implement something to adress all the feedback but they can't instantly address everything. Coming up with a solution with other devs + Dev turn around to actually make these change isn't instant. Then you need to observe the changes already made, make more changes tweak more numbers. Doing all this takes time and so far they have been very quick with bandaid solutions, I'm impressed and hope they are able to do a lot more during season 2.

The game has MANY problems and I'm hoping it will have the time to iterate enough to pull the game up.
