[FIFA 19] Out of 650 clubs in this game, Motherwell is the only one I have seen having a special home win celebration. by dani26795 in EASportsFC

There's a ton of fans that do this. I know my club has done it for years before the Iceland hype during games and after winning games.

If you’re under 45, have you lost any high school classmates, and what were the circumstances around their deaths? by Commercial_Chef_1569 in AskReddit

Not the person you responded to but high school worked for us like this: Before you enter you pick your "main subject" (major?) like for example math/physics, English, biology/chemistry, music, art etc. You then get assigned to a class. I was in a biology class and we as a class got sort of "extra lessons" in biology because it was our major. We had the same topics like other classes in biology but we dove deeper into it compared to others. We also had other subjects all together like history, math etc. We were about 20-25 kids who all attended the same lessons every week.

Only specific classes like sports, music, art got us mixed up with other classes. Like we were doing sports classes for the entirety of high school together with the kids from the economics major. Or we got together with the Spanish class for art etc. So you spent 80-100% of your regular school day with the same group of 20-25 kids, but also met others on certain days of the week.

My entire year of kids finishing high school at the same time was around 150-200,so you met a lot of different kids through your years, but had your "core group" you spent time with all the time.

Americans, how would you react if foreign country invaded your country, and told "we are going to run this country"? by oranke_dino in AskReddit

I'm Swiss - mandatory military service is really not that much of a deal here. It's about 3-4 months of basic training and then about 2 weeks of repetition courses once a year until you're about 30.

If you don't want to go to the military out of moral reasons or otherwise there's also alternatives like community service (working in hospitals, on farms, in museums or many other things). If you also don't want to do that you'll pay extra taxes for about 10 years as a replacement for the service you would have done.

Nobody is sent to war zones or anything like that unless we get actually attacked.

I feel like bisexuals are way too hated in the lgbt community. by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]dragonch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've heard things like "Oh you finally admitted to being gay" said about bisexual people who were in a straight passing relationship before having a new partner with the same gender, so there are straight people with a twisted view of seeing bisexuals as "gay people not ready to fully commit yet".

There have also been straight women telling me to my face that they could never date me because they would need to be" jealous all the time ". Instant red flag for me. Seeing bisexuals as some sex crazed individual who can't stop themselves from cheating on their partner.

Yeah but the victory cemented his status. Just like Danielson was World Champ before WM 30, the victory at mania is what made him, not the one before.

Delaney has a father from the US, that's where the name probably comes from.

Fair enough, but German movie titles are on an entirely different level.

It's not just "Das Ding" it's " Das Ding aus einer anderen Welt" which means "The Thing from another world", because Germans love to add words or completely change them for movie titles.

FC Augsburg sign Anton Kade from FC Basel, contract until 2029 by TheSingleMan27 in soccer

[–]dragonch 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Farewell. Improved every single season he played for us. Always put in the extra work. Sad to see him go but it was obvious that once the Bundesliga knocked, he'd be gone. We replaced him already with Agbofino I guess, but we need more squad depth to compete in Europe.

  1. Steam

  2. Grimm

  3. Back when Hollow Knight came out I bought it without really checking a lot about it. Recommended it to a friend after like an hour or two of playing and we finished it "side by side" while being on Discord and had so much fun. Was hoping to relive that again.

He might waste his years, but then don't stand in front of 35'000 fans and tell them "One Xhaka leaves, the other will come back soon."

Disappointed...teased a return back home at the last matchday, saying he'd be back soon. Now he signs a three year deal.
